Every June for the last 4 years, we have gone to the same little cabins on the beach in Westbank, BC. This year was the best. Half of the resort’s cabins all knew each other – all of our kids played together, and all of us parents hung out at the fire on the beach every night. It was very relaxing – too relaxing. I’m having trouble getting back into a normal routine after the past week ;) But school is over, the kids are brown, and it’s time to enjoy every bit of summer. I just wish I had taken more photos! Too many times I just chose to stay put and enjoy watching whatever was happening instead of running to grab my camera. But I was, after all, on vacation! And a laid back vacation with some friends was exactly what we needed :)
