Every June for the last 4 years, we have gone to the same little cabins on the beach in Westbank, BC. This year was the best. Half of the resort’s cabins all knew each other – all of our kids played together, and all of us parents hung out at the fire on the beach...

On Saturday I got to see someone I haven’t seen in…. oh, 14 years?? We went to junior high and high school together, then to UofA where we both majored in Political Science (I think she switched to History later). I have so many great memories of her from all those years. It was wonderful...
