I saw this video on YouTube today and wanted to share it with my blog followers (I’m sure most of you are moms!). It’s a great reminder of everything we’ve all learned about being a mom – and what we wish we knew from the beginning! So if you could go back in time and give yourself some advice, what would it be? Well, it is definitely feeling like Fall out there! I’m sad to see this summer go – it was such a fun one for me. But I have lots of sessions this Fall that I’m really looking forward to. I only have room for about 2 more families in September, so book now if you haven’t already :)

This beautiful little girl is an incredible blessing for her mom & dad. After several challenges, E & T finally have their first child – a gorgeous baby girl named Zaeya Brooklyn. She was just 6 days old for her first photo session yesterday. Normally still a pretty sleepy age, but she chose to stay awake for much of it. I did catch a few sleepy shots, though ;) Congratulations, E & T – welcome to parenthood!

I thought for sure we would have to reschedule this session, which would have been tricky since this mom-to-be is from out of town. It was supposed to be raining Sunday morning, so I was really surprised to wake up and see the sun! We had some fun doing an urban maternity session that included a sweet little two year old who’s about to become a big sister. It was great meeting you, K! Yet another great looking family! I have it pretty tough lately ;) Actually, I know these two from years ago. Many years. I went to school with T – and he’s still one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. And C. his wife of 14 years (!), was always this pretty, but I had forgotten how tall she is!. Their three kids look so much like them, and they are such a loving family. I was happy that C asked me to do their photos – it was totally my pleasure! Here’s their sneak peek:

He kind of just shows up in my office when he’s in the mood, but he’s very eager and loves to press buttons for me. The only complaint I have is that he sometimes comes under dressed for the job. But he’s only around for a few minutes at a time, so I let it slide ;)

This is one gorgeous family. I went to high school with Peter & Andrea (who have always been this good together). It was wonderful to see them again, to see them so happy with their three beautiful kids. The second image below is a new favourite family image of mine – there’s just something about a pile of laughing kids and smiling parents :)

Here’s another sneak peek today – this time for Madison’s mom & dad. I LOVED the location – Saxe Point in Victoria. Such a pretty little park by the ocean. Madison is super cute – and happens to share a grandma with my niece & nephew! Cute runs in the family, I guess ;)
